Specifications

The reality that faces our industry is that in today’s marketplace, the specifications as written are outdated or even obsolete. After our annual PSI Specifications Conference, armed with the knowledge and feedback given to us by brokers, mill buyers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, the Specifications Committee begins the task of updating current specifications.

We thank everyone who attends the Specifications session and PSI Chapter meeting to contribute their ideas.

Proposed specifications changes are reviewed at the ISRI winter board meeting each year. PSI membership then votes on the changes at the Specifications Summit. The ISRI board then votes on the changes at the ISRI Convention annually.
